I’ll spare ya’ll the details, but this is shaping up to be a weird Saturday. This morning has been particularly rough. Received some unsurprising, but anger-inducing news that has me all riled up. Next me and the fam have to get ready to attend a memorial service. I’m glad we can go to show our support, but these things are naturally kind of depressing. Can’t imagine that will do my mood any favors. Then to change the pace completely, we’ll turn around and drive for 2 hours for a family birthday party. Last Tha-hers-day of May. And a busy one. This is the 5th blog post I’ve written today in some place or another. I taught a class in Bedford. Went over time, nearly lost my voice and despite the 2 extra fans – managed to sweat through both my undershirt and dress shirt. REAL professional.
Becca (that’s my wife) spent half the day home sick. And she’s gonna stay home tomorrow, too. Guess what that means? I might actually have some real, honest-to-God quiet time to work (she agreed to watch Abby for a while). Got some sctuff to catch up on. Fo real!
